Shipping Policy

At DRT Laminating, we are committed to ensuring that your custom countertops are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. Please review the following terms and conditions related to our shipping and delivery services:

1. Delivery Areas

We offer delivery services throughout Johannesburg and surrounding areas. For deliveries outside of Johannesburg South, please contact us directly to confirm availability and obtain a delivery quote.

2. Delivery Scheduling

Once your order is complete and ready for dispatch, a member of our team will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date and time. All deliveries are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.

3. Delivery Procedure

  • Our drivers will deliver your order to the door of your premises or designated business location.

  • At your express request and risk, our driver may assist in moving goods into a designated area. However, DRT Laminating will not be held liable for any damages or losses resulting from this assistance.

  • Drivers will not carry items upstairs or to elevated areas unless a suitable goods lift is available.

4. Delivery Requirements

  • You or an authorised representative (aged 18 or older) must be present to receive and sign for the delivery.

  • Goods will not be left unattended or with individuals under 18 years of age.

  • If no one is available to accept the delivery, the driver will wait for up to 10 minutes. If no authorised person is available, the order will be returned, and a re-delivery fee will apply.

5. Product Inspection

We strongly recommend inspecting your goods at the time of delivery. Please check for:

  • Scratches, chips, or other physical damages.

  • Correct quantities and product types as per your invoice.

Any issues or damaged goods must be reported to the driver and marked on the delivery note immediately. Damaged or incorrect items should be returned with the driver for a replacement or refund. We cannot accept claims for damages or shortages after the driver has left the premises.

6. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

While we strive to meet all scheduled deliveries, delays may occur due to:

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Road closures or heavy traffic

  • Vehicle breakdowns or other unexpected events

In such cases, we will notify you promptly and reschedule your delivery. DRT Laminating will not be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.

7. Delivery Charges

Delivery fees are calculated based on your location and order size. Final charges will be confirmed during the ordering process. Additional fees may apply for:

  • Remote areas

  • Large or bulky orders

  • Re-deliveries

8. Collection Option

If preferred, you may collect your order directly from our premises in West Turffontein, Johannesburg South. Please arrange a collection date in advance. Orders not collected within 14 days may be subject to cancellation and a handling fee.
